SARAH R. CRIMMEL, 82, of Brookline Manor Convalescent Home, Mifflintown RD, formerly of Port Royal, died Tuesday, February 18 [1986] at the manor.
Born December 19, 1903 in Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Sarah Shirk Emery. Her husband, John Melvin Crimmel died June 11, 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard [Helen] Sieber, Mifflintown RD2; a son, Robert J. Crimmel, Mifflintown RD3; a sister and a brother: Flo Crozier and Leonard E. Emery, both of William Penn Nursing Center, Lewistown; and six grandchildren.
She was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church and Port Royal Senior Citizens.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Guss Funeral Home, Mifflintown, with Rev. John E. Halderman officiating. Interment was in Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
