Dick and Julia AUMILLER owned and operated Aumiller's Grocery Store on Market St. in Port Royal.

OBITUARY:

RICHARD C. AUMILLER, 85, of Eighth St. Port Royal, died on Tuesday. November 7, 1989 at Lewistown Hospital.

Born April 22, 1904 in East Waterford, he was the son of the late Percival and Anna (Williamson) Aumiller. His wife, Julia A. (Springsteen) Aumiller, whom he married Nov. 15, 1929, survives.

Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Wendell (Mary Lou) Longenecker and Arthur R. Aumiller, both of Port Royal; sister, Mrs. George (Mary Katherine) German of Wellsboro; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl E. Aumiller.

He was the owner of Aumiller's Supermarket, Port Royal.

Mr. Aumlller was known for his musical ability on stringed instruments and played in various groups locally and in Jensen Beach, Fla.

He was a member, Deacon and Elder of the Port Royal Presbyterian Church, a member of the Union Lodge 324 F&AM, Mifflintown and president of the Port Royal Senior Citizens Center and the Zembo Shrine String Band, Harrisburg and the Turbett Grange #781.

Services were held at the Rex Funeral Home. Port Royal, with the Rev. John E. Halderman officiating. Interment was in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

Masonic services were held at the funeral home.
