Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Robison was the daughter of Robert "William" and Sarah (Jacobs) Robison. Elizabeth was born on March 28, 1835 and died November 22, 1917. On January 3, 1861 she married Robert E. McMeen. Elizabeth and Robert lived in Turbett Township during their married life.
The McMeens were members of the Presbyterian Church. Their marriage was blessed with three children: William E. McMeen (1865-1929) who married "Mamie" McClure. Elsie Ann (1871-1956) married Holmes Brady Groninger (1871-1945). Sarah Bertha (1873-1940) who married William A. Groninger (1876-1922).
