State College, Pennsylvania - Wayne K. Ewalt passed away on December 16th, 2020 at the Wynwood house in Boalsburg, PA. He was born on April 10th 1928 in Tuscarora PA to Grace and Clyde Ewalt. He married the love of his life, Alma Arentz on December 28th, 1955.
Wayne graduated from Tuscarora Valley High School, and attended Thompson Business College in Harrisburg. He proudly served two years in the Navy, and five years in the Naval Reserves. He performed bookkeeping and accounting duties for the PA Dutch Farm office. After the company sold, he moved on to being in sales and services in Belleville and State College before retiring.
In addition to his many jobs, he also had many hobbies. He loved bowling and watching the stock market. Wayne volunteered at Centre Peace for many years. He was a member of the Elks club in Boalsburg, PA (Lodge #1600) and was a part of the Toastmasters Club in State College, PA for 25 years. Wayne loved going to church and was an Elder and treasurer for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Wayne always brought joy to any occasion and had a positive attitude about everything. He always wanted the best for everyone he knew.
Wayne is survived by his one daughter Beverly Lucas of Boalsburg, PA, his grandson Chad Lucas of Centre Hall, PA, and his granddaughter Tracy Lansberry (Donald) of Boalsburg, PA. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren, Jason Lansberry of Aaronsburg, PA, Justin Lansberry of Potters Mills, PA, and his great-granddaughter Amanda Neese (Richard) of Boalsburg, PA, and one great-great-grandchild James Lansberry of Aaronsburg, PA.
In addition, he is survived by his nephew Robert and Dollie Ewalt, and their family, Patrick, Christina and Mikey of Port Royal, PA and his niece Susan of Ontario CA.
He is preceded in death by his brother John Ewalt and his wife Betty; his great niece Rebecca Ewalt Woods; his son in law James Richard Lucas; his wife Alma Arentz Ewalt; his grandson Richard Bryan Lucas, and his great-grandson Ryan Michael Lucas.
