EARLY CLASS TO GRADUATE FROM PORT ROYAL HIGH SCHOOL IN 1910
There were six students in this early class to graduate from Port Royal High School in 1910. They were: Margaret Frankhouse, Hugh Groninger, Stanley Kerchner, Ralph Patterson, Raymond Patterson and Clinton Rodgers.
Hugh Groninger went on to Penn State and at one time served as a game warden near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Hugh was the son of Robert Elliott and Mary Belle (McLaughlin) Groninger. Hugh was born in 1891 and died in 1963.
Margaret Frankhouse lived to be almost 106 years. She was the daughter of Charles and Jane "Jennie" (Meloy) Frankhouse. She was married twice, her first husband was Samuel S. Beaver and her second husband was Grover C. Lyter.
Raymond and Ralph Patterson were twins from Mexico.
