At one time this was two different properties. The western side of the property served as a grocery store for much of its existence. The eastern side of the property served as a tea room and restaurant [portion with darkest siding]. When Richard Aumiller enlarged his grocery store, he combined the two properties.
The grocery store portion of the property was at one time the George C. Crozier store. It was while Crozier operated the store that he established an Ice Cream Factory that can be seen in some of the maps below.
After Crozier, and later Aumiller, operated the store, it served as a convenience store before it was turned into apartment units. Prior to the Aumiller Store, Martha Bashore and later Isabel Anders Boyer operated a tea room from the eastern portion of this property before Isabel moved across Market Street and established a restaurant.
