This house sits on the northeast corner of Tuscarora and Second Streets. In 2004 it was apparently owned by Terry Strawser. His parents, Larry and Sandra Strawser owned the house previously. ''Wib'' and Helen Shoemaker were the owners and occupants before the Strawsers, and before the Shoemakers the house was owned by Albert McCahren, father of the late Wayne 'Brownie'' McCahren and grandfather of Martha Kepner, Ruth Taylor and Mabel Esh.
(Recollection from JoAn Bashore Slautterback of the houses, owners, and occupants of Fiddlers Green, from the late 30s and 40s. as published in the Port Royal Times 2004.)
