This house is presently owned and occupied by Ben Longacre; his parents Frank and Effie (Kohler) Longacre owned the house before him. Before the Longacres, this house was occupied by Jess and Edna Kauffman and their five children. Before the Kauffmans, the Howard Clark family lived there, Howard was the grandfather of Gerald Clark and at one time Howard Clark served as Sheriff of Juniata County. Before the Clarks, Paul and Mary Johnson, parents of Edwina B and Bill Johnson, occupied this home.

(Recollection from JoAn Bashore Slautterback of the houses, owners, and occupants of Fiddlers Green, from the late 30s and 40s. as published in the Port Royal Times 2004.)
