Jack Elton Boyer, 74, of Port Royal, passed away at 11:57 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016, at his home.
Born November 7, 1941 in Port Royal, he was the son of the late Wayne and Isabel (Anders) Boyer.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann (Zeak) Boyer, whom he married on January 22, 1966. Also surviving is a brother, Thomas A. Boyer, of New Cumberland.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Jane Kapsa and Donna Posavec, and one brother, Barry Boyer.
Mr. Boyer worked as a superintendent for Hemp Brothers Construction Company in Camp Hill, where he was employed for 50 years.
He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Mifflintown.
For many years, he enjoyed serving as a helper for the Friendship Fire Company's weekly bingo night.
His favorite hobby was "his yard work at his home."
Jack was a "regular" for the Breakfast Club at JP's Pancake House.
Private services for Jack will be officiated by Rev. William M. Weary and Pastor Glenn Hosler.
Interment will be held at East Waterford Cemetery.

The Rex Funeral Home in Port Royal has been entrusted with the arrangements.
