Earl Joseph “Bud” Fleck, 83, passed away at his home in Mesa, Arizona on September 24, 2015.
Born in Blair County on February 6, 1932, he was the son of the late Rev. Robert E. and Margaret (Housum) Fleck.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 58 years, Frances (Yucha) Fleck, two daughters, Laurie Ann Neville and husband Robert, of Mesa, Arizona and Samantha Morris and husband, Jeffrey of California, six granddaughters, and four great grandchildren.
He is also survived by a brother, David Paul Fleck and wife Peggy, sister Mildred Bashore and husband Clinton, all of Port Royal, and sister-in-law Heather Fleck of State College. He was proceeded in death by older brother, Robert H. Fleck in 2013.
Earl moved with his family to Port Royal when he was 8 years old and attended Port Royal schools. He graduated from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. His career in chemical engineering took him, with his family, to live in many different states, including Massachusetts, Florida, Ohio, California, and finally retirement in Arizona. No matter in what state he lived, he always considered Port Royal “Back Home.”
