William H. Saylor owned and operated this store during the 1920s. Since the store was purchased by Richard "Dick" Aumiller, its location is likely where the Aumiller Supermarket would eventually be located just east of the Odd Fellows Hall.

Comment by Miriam Wert, May 30, 2018: "William H. Saylor was married to my grandmother, (Rachel Jane Packard) a widow who had previously been married to John W. Taylor. When just a child, I went to their store with my parents, N. L. & Edna Taylor. It was a very narrow store but long inside. It was on the same side as (and below) the Stimmel (now Rex) Funeral Home with another building or so beside it. Not sure, but I think those buildings may have burned or been torn down. Will Saylor also repaired shoes in his home."
