OBITUARY for MYRTLE KLINE MOYER

Myrtle Kline Moyer formerly of Port Royal passed away on May 9, 2012 in the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.

Born on October 31, 1920 in Spruce Hill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Z. and Lenora [McLaughlin] Kline.

Mrs. Moyer was a graduate of Port Royal High School and along with her late husband, Harold “Whitey” Moyer farmed in the Port Royal area for 30 years.

She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son, Joseph Moyer and wife Mary of Hershey, twin sister, Martha Wright of NC; granddaughter, Sara Jennings of VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Harold. she was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Horning and Mildred Theurer, and a grandson. Daniel Moyer.

A graveside service will be held in Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Charles Hershberger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moyer Park Accounts PO Box 59, Port Royal, PA 17082. Attn: Barbara Bergstresser.
