Martha Mary Frankhouse was a daughter of Charles David and Jennie (Meloy) Frankhouse. She was born September 19, 1899 and died November 25, 1995. She was a 1917 Graduate of Port Royal High School. She was married to Roscoe Conklin Kauffman.

OBITUARY for MARTHA FRANKHOUSE KAUFFMAN

Martha Frankhouse Kauffman, 96 of Brookline Manor, Mifflintown RR1, and formerly of Upper Darby, died at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 1995, at Brookline Manor.

Born September 19, 1899, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late Charles David and Jennie [Meloy] Frankhouse. Her husband, Roscoe C. Kauffman, died in 1981.

Surviving is a son, R. Craig Kauffman, of East Aurora, NY. Also surviving are: sister, Mrs. Margaret Lyter of Brookline Retirement Village, Mifflintown RR1; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Melvin and Fred Frankhouse.

She was a graduate of Port Royal High School. In her early life she was a teller at the Juniata Valley Bank until 1932. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Upper Darby. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with Rev. Claude Baublitz officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
