OBITUARY for SHARON L. EATON

Sharon L. Eaton, 73, of Port Royal, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 10, 1946 in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Josephine "Joy" I. (Leonard) Longenecker.

She is survived by three children, Kevin D. Eaton of Thompsontown, Heidi J. Goss of Lewistown, and Adam Eaton, three siblings, Sandra K. Roush of Marysville, John R. "Butch" Longenecker of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Sherry Berrier of Port Royal, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Sharon made the doughnuts at the Mifflintown IGA, and worked at Empire Kosher Poultry and at Mexico Market.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, doing Sudoku, and who loved to bake and share her baked goods with others.

A memorial gathering at Karl Guss Park, Licking Creek Valley, for her family and friends will be announced at a future time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sharon's parents may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Dr, Ste 100, Harrisburg PA 17110 or online at www.alz.org.
