JULIA A. AMUMILER, 85, formerly of Eighth Street, Port Royal, died at noon Saturday, September 26, 1992 at the Brookline Manor Convalescent Home, Mifflintown RR1.
Born January 15, 1907 in Orwell, NY, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Hess and Carrie [Sweet] Springsteen. Her husband, Richard C. Aumiller, died November 7, 1989.
Surviving are: children, Arthur R. Aumiller and Mary Lou Longenecker, both of Port Royal; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was co-owner of Aumiller’s Supermarket, Port Royal, for many years.
She was a graduate of Port Royal High School and was a member of the Port Royal Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with Rev. James F. Cranston officiating. Interment will be in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
