Josh RITZMAN was a farmer and lived almost all of his life in Turbett Township, Juniata Co., PA (9 May 1897 - 11 Mar 1997) He was married to Mary Margaretta Kepner.

OBITUARY:
JOSHUA “JOSH” LLOYD RITZMAN, 99, of Locust Grove Retirement Village, HC 67, Mifflin, and formerly of Port Royal RR3, died at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 1997, at Locust Grove.

Born May 9, 1897, in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late William P. and Carrie A. [Wise] Ritzman. His wife, Mary M. [Kepner] Ritzman, died April 15, 1976.

He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Elmer L. Ritzman and W. Book Ritzman and a sister, Jessie W. Ritzman.

He was a retired farmer and was a member of Port Royal Presbyterian Church, was an 84-year member of Turbett Grange No. 791, a member of Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association and a member of the Advisory Board of Juniata Valley Bank, Port Royal, for many years.

Services were held Friday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with Rev. Richard R. Burchfield officiating. Interment was in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
