William BRACKBILL was born 20 Mar 1807 and died 13 Apr 1863. He was married to Eleanor Ellen "Nellie" Hartman on 20 Jul 1829. Nellie was born 7 Apr 1811 and died 14 Mar 1892. William and Nellie had twelve children: George, Elizabeth, Luther, Cyrus, Stewart, John, Lamuel, Emeline, Sarah, William, Elmira, Robert.
John Sherlock (1817-1874 and John Brackbill (1809-1882) were brothers-in-law. John Brackbill married Susan Duffield (181-1896) while John Sherlock married Margaret Duffield (1817-1889), sisters.
John Sherlock and William Brackbill (a brother of John Brackbill) were awarded a Patent together on 18 June 1850 #7445 for a Feed apparatus for mills. (See the two images for details.)

It should say "Port Royal" rather than "Porgugal".)
