Dorothy Florine Beale was the daughter of James Franklin and Grace Almeda (Reed) Beale. She was born September 30, 1911 and died April 1, 2006. She graduated from Port Royal High School in the Class of 1928. She was married to Joseph Patrick O'Brien.

DOROTHY BEALE O'BRIEN died at the home of her son in Alpharetta on April 1, 2006.
Born September 30, 1911, she was the daughter of the late J. Frank Beale and Grace Reed Beale.
She was the widow of the late Joseph P. O'Brien.
Surviving are: four children, James O'Brien and wife Pamela of Duglasville, Joseph O'Brien and wife Julia of Alpharetta, Kathleen Jones and husband Casey of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Ann Drawbaugh of Atlanta; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Brien was a member of Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church for many years, and was a talented contributor to the needlework projects of The Mushroom, when it was active there.
She was a life-long homemaker.
A service was held Tuesday, April 4, at Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum in Arlington Memorial Park.
Sandy Spring Chapel Funeral Directions, Sandy Spring, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.
