James Kidd Beale was the son of John Calvin and Florence E. (Kidd) Beale. He was born May 27, 1902 and died December 6, 1971. He graduated from Port Royal High School in the Class of 1924. He was married to Dorothy Leeper.
OBITUARY for JAMES KIDD BEALE
MIFFLIN - JAMES K. BEALE, 69, of Mifflin SR, died Monday at Lewistown Hospital.
He was a retired clerk for the Manbeck Lumber Co. He also was an elder and trustee in the McCoysville Presbyterian Church; past master and member of the Tuscarora Grange, and treasurer of the McCoysville Cemetery Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy L. Beale; two brothers, John C. of Mifflintown and Roy W. Beale of McCoysville; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Campbell of Dry Run.
Services will be held Thursday t 2 p.m. at the funeral home at Honey Grove. His pastor, Rev. Steven Baxter, will officiate. Burial will be in McCoysville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
