George Lloyd Lyter was the son of George Alfred and Elizabeth E. (Hockenberry) Lyter. He was born January 12, 1910 and died March 6, 1998. He graduated from Port Royal High School in the Class of 1929. He was married to Caroline Corrine Hart.
