Fred C. Wagner, 86, of 21 First St., Port Royal, who resided with his daughter at 105 Tuscarora St., Port Royal, died on Sunday, April 21, 1991, at the Lewistown Hospital.
Born April 12, 1905, in Port Royal, he was a son of the late William D. and Nellie I. (McMeen) Wagner.
His wife, Margaret E. (Vawn) Wagner preceded him in death on April 23, 1976.
Surviving are: children, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Michael of Port Royal, Dorothy Swab of Mifflintown RD3, and William C. Wagner of Port Royal; brothers and sisters, George E. Wagner of McAlisterville, William Wagner, Mrs. Blair (Sarah) Ford and Mrs. Harriet I. Zimmerman all of Port Royal.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Nancy C. Wagner, E. Marguerite Wagner, Ethel M. Wagner and Dorothy B. Walters; one brother, Herbert O. Wagner; one granddaughter, Karen R. Swab.
Mr. Wagner retired in 1962 from the former Breyer Ice cream Plant, Port Royal.
He was a member of the Port Royal United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of the Friendship Fire Co., Port Royal and a lifetime member of the Port Royal Ambulance Division.
Funeral services will be held at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal on Thursday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John E. Halderman officiating. The Viewing will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
