Benjamin Edward Groninger was the son of William Allen and Sarah Bertha (McMeen) Groninger. He was born January 30, 1907 and died October 1981.
He married Marian Van Ormer (b 1907 - d 1982) and they had two sons: Benjamin (Benny) and William (Bill). The Groninger family lived in the village of Old Port in Turbett Township.

Ray...this is pap's Old Port uniform, gloves, bat, and socks hanging at the Academy for their new Sports Exhibit. The exhibit is really something...Jan was able to take us in to see it before we left.
