George & Minnie celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary in their home in Old Port.
At seven o’clock on Wednesday evening, Oct. 22, 1901, Rev. I. O. Moser, united in marriage at the Evangelical Lutheran parsonage in this place, Mr. George G. Landis to Miss Minnie M. Souder, and were attended by Mr. John W. McCormick and Miss Stella Kennedy.

George G. LANDIS, son of William Willis and Catharine Ann "Katie" (Partner) Landis. George was the husband of Minnie M. Souders. They had four children: Helen Gertrude Landis Page, Maude Landis (died as an infant) Nellie Josephine Landis Taylor and C. Ralph Landis.
George Landis was born March 31, 1881 and passed away July 25, 1965.
