This house sits on the east side of First Street and was likely next door to the house that was considered the oldest house in Port Royal. That old house had to be torn down to build the 1937 steel bridge. During the late 1950s and 1960s this house was the home of the Wayne "Red" and Isabel (Anders) Boyer family.
Bill & Romaine (McCulloch) Kennedy brought this house from Isabel Boyer about 1968 or 1969. They lived there till 1998 and then sold it to their daughter Penny [Kennedy] Royer and husband Bill Royer.
