This house sits on the south side of the 200 block of Market Street. During part of the Twentieth Century it was the home of W. Elliott and Orpha (Stuber) Towsey. The Towseys lived here whild Elliott served as manager of the A&P and while he worked at Bashore's Hardware.
At one time this was the home of Pearl (Anders) Sieber and son George (who drowned in the Tuscarora Creek).
