When George M. "Judd" Runkle owned the house next door, this building served as the printing shop for the Port Royal Times.

In the 1980s it served as the Tuscarora Land Surveying Office owned by George Campbell.

It now (2009) serves as a beauty salon of Jen McClure Foust, under the name: Trends by Jen.
