William was born on January 26, 1844 in Lancaster, PA and died July 30, 1913 in Spruce Hill, PA. He was married to sisters Mary Elizabeth Britcher and later to Laura Virginia Britcher. He had a total of thirteen children. He was buried in the New Church Hill Cemetery.
