This is a large double house. At one time it was the home of the Arthur and Carrie Springsteen family and the Richard and Julia Aumiller family. Julia Aumiller was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Springsteen. At one time the Springsteens operated Hotel Royal which sat next door to the left.
During the mid-1960s the Clair and Connie (Knepp) Parson family occupied this residence. Later Karen (Hower) Hurrell lived here.
This house was built between 1911 and 1928 because it doesn't appear on the Sanborn Fire Insurance Map of 1911 but does appear on their 1928 map.
