OBITUARY for FRANCIS J. ST JOHN
Francis J. St. John, 74, of Port Royal, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at his residence.
Francis was born on January 7, 1951, in Lewistown, the son of the late Francis J. St. John, Sr. and Betty Mae (Wilt) St. John.
On March 19, 1970, he married his surviving wife, Gloria (Wileman) St. John with whom he was blessed to share more than fifty-five years of marriage before his passing.
Along with his wife, he is survived by siblings, Pauline Smouse, Michael St. John and wife, Susan. He is also survived by various nieces and nephews, including a nephew Jeff St. John, who was like a son to him. He was preceded in death by siblings, Kathy Leahy, Jewel St. John, Patrick Steven St. John and Thomas Vincent St. John.
Francis was a mechanic by trade. He owned his own business, St. John’s Garage for forty-five years. Francis loved mechanical work. He also loved cars for races, country music, playing his harmonica, his Boston terriers, learning new things and reading the Bible. His favorite scriptures were John 3:16 and Romans 8:28. He was a member of the United Church of God.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
