OBITUARY for GAIL B. ADAIR
Gail B. Adair, 67, of Port Royal, passed away on at 8:06 AM, Friday, December 20, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born on November 8, 1957 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is a daughter of the late Charles E. Sr. and Bertha (Heck) Fidler.
On June 23, 1978, she married her surviving husband, James W. Adair, Sr. with whom she was blessed to share over 46 years of marriage before her passing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, James W. Adair, Jr. and his wife Heidi of Mifflintown, Joann G. Erb and her husband Richard of Port Royal, Richard L. Adair and his companion Breanna Andrews of Port Royal, and Linda S. Adair and her husband Jose Flores of Port Royal; nine grandchildren, Cooper Adair, Abigail Adair, Tyler Foose, Hunter Erb, Ashley Adair, Darrin Adair, Haley Adair, Landon Flores, and Dylan Flores; three great grandchildren, Nevaeh Pinkney, Mazikeen Pinkney, and Zakiah Pinkney; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Natalya Flores and nine siblings making her the last of her generation.
Gail was a 1977 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and had served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Perry Village, William Penn Nursing Home, and was a Private Duty In Home Care Nurse for many years. In addition to her occupation, she also was a professional bingo player who was ranked 50th in the country.
She enjoyed playing cards, playing on her phone and the computer, baking, cooking, and fishing; however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her husband and her family.
Memorial Services are pending and will be announced at a later time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
