OBITUARY for Arlene Naylor Kint, 77, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Port Royal, Pa., went to be with her lord, March, 13, 2011 from complications with COPD.
Born in East Salem on Janurary 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Pearl A. (Gerhart) Naylor. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Alton "Aukie" Kint.
Also survining are her sons, Keith and wife Kathy of Winter Haven, FL, Cutis and wife Diana of Mifflintown, and Kevin of Spring Grove; and a daughter. Karen Rode and husband Mike of Harrisburg; a brother and five sisters, Ruth Neff of Mifflintown, George Naylor, Helen Bryner and Betty Zarkovich, all of McAlistersville, Mary Ann Henry of Doylesburg and Polly Eaton of Newark, DE; beloved grandchildren, DJ, Brian, Alisha, Ashley, Travis, Rebecca, Carrie, Michelle, Cora, Jesse, Mary and Allison; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A son, Doyle in 1972; a sister, Kay in 1974, and a twin brother, Eugene in infancy, preceded in death.
She worked as a mother and housewife for many years, later working at Brookline Convalescent Home as a nurse's aide. She also worked for McClure's Flowers in Port Royal for years. She retired, moving to Winter Haven 20 years ago.
She had a strong faith and was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church and Spirit Lake Community Church in Winter Haven.
She enjoyed the many activities at her home in Winter Haven, but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends both in Winter Haven and Juniata County.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. at A New Beginning Community Chruch, 2118 Spruce Hill Road, Port Royal.
