OBITUARY for CLAIR K. MARTIN
Clair K. Martin, 72, of Port Royal, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Clair was born September 3, 1951, to the late Ivan G. and Eva (Kurtz) Martin.
Clair was a farmer until health issues forced him to retire.
In addition to his wife, Clair is survived by three children, Donna, married to Jason Husler of Port Royal, David, married to Amy (Lehman) Martin of Port Royal, and Debbie, married to Melvin Wenger of Troxelville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three brothers, Ivan, Eugene, and Glenn Martin; one stepbrother, Ralph Martin; and two sisters in law, Mary Jane Martin and Barbara Sheaffer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louella Zimmerman, and three brothers, Cloyd, Mervin, and Elvin Martin.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Delaware Mennonite Church, 16 Delaware Church Road, Thompsontown with Pastor David Gingrich officiating. Interment will follow in the Delaware Mennonite Church Cemetery.
