OBITUARY for CHRISTOPHER M. COOPER
Christopher M. Cooper, 45, of Port Royal, passed away suddenly on Friday March 15, 2024 as a result of a boating accident.
He was born on July 7, 1978 in Carlisle, he was son of Gary C. Cooper, and the late Roberta J. (Cramer) Cooper.
In addition to his father, he is also survived by his loving wife, Lynn (Congdon) Cooper, his children, Mason A. Cooper, Chase M. Cooper, and Alexis M. Cooper, all at home, numerous siblings, his maternal grandmother, Dottie Gutshall, and close friends, that were like children to Chris, Kyle Leonard, and Faith Pannebaker.
Chris loved watching races at The Port Royal Speedway, breakfast at Walnut Cheese Nook, watching UFC fights, going to car shows, working on anything with a motor, supporting local bands with his wife, and playing pool at the Millerstown Moose Lodge No. 925 with his closest friends and fellow members. Most of all, Chris will be remembered as a friend that was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a devoted father, and a hero to his children until his final breath. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service in loving memory of Chris will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville PA 17084, with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating. There will be a visitation held at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until time of service.
