OBITUARY for ADA MAE BOWERS TURBETT
PORT ROYAL - Ada M. Turbett, 84, of 811 Milford St., Port Royal, died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Altoona Hospital Center for Nursing Care, Altoona.
Born December 31, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle (Calhoun) Bowers. Her husband, Brady L. Turbett, preceded her in death on June 11, 1991.
Surviving are: children, Larry K. Turbett, Memphis TN, and Mrs Tim (Cindy) Gutzwiller, Altoona, sister, Mrs Harvey (Beatrice) Fettig, RR1, Port Royal; 4 grandchildren, 1 foster grandchild and 1 great-granddaughter.
She was a graduate of Port Royal High School. She was a retired seamstress havng worked for the former Rae-Sel Corporation, Port Royal.
She was a member of the Tuscarora Church of the Brethren and the Turbett Grange #781.
Her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles Sheaffer officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, PA
