OBITUARY for ANNA MAE PAGE SHOWERS

PORT ROYAL - Anna Mae Showers, 87, of Milford St., Port Royal, died at 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born on June 20, 1921, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Helen Gertrude (Landis) Page. Her husband, William D. Showers, preceded her in death on May 7, 1989.

Surviving are: one daughter, Linda R. Showers, who resides at home; and two brothers, Harold L. "Bud" Page, of RR2, Port Royal, and Paul L. Page, of Port Royal.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther P. Peters and Arlene P. Peters.

She was a 1939 graduate of the Port Royal High School.

She was employed by the former Rae-Sel Corp., Port Royal as a seamstress for over 40 years.

Anna Mae was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church and a lifelong member of the Turbett Grange No. 781.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2009, from the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal with Pastor Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will be held in East Waterford Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
