OBITUARY for ROBERT HENRY ULSH

ROBERT H. ULSH, 84, formerly of McAllsterville and Port Royal, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.

Born December 6, 1922 in Port Royal. he was the son of the late Edgar A. Ulsh and Christina R. (Long) Ulsh.

Surviving are: one son, Robert E. Ulsh and wife Karen of Virginia Beach, VA; two daughters. Jean Ulsh of Wellsville. NY and Libby Eshbach of Charlotsville, VA; two sisters. Mary Christine Crowley of Mechanicsburg and Mrs. Ed (Joanne) Allen of Burnham; one brother. C. Richard Ulsh and wife Ann of Los Osos, CA: and three grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Donald E. Ulsh of Friendswood, TX.

He was a graduate of the Port Royal High School and the Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy, KY.

Mr. Ulsh was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the Merchant Marines.

He worked for Westinghouse in Philadelphia and later was employed as a draftsman for Worthington Pump Co., Wellsville, NY.

He was a caregiver to his parents in later years.

He enjoyed reading and football.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 19, 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal is In charge of the arrangements.
