OBITUARY for WILLIAM L. ‘BILL’ PAGE

William L. “Bill” Page, 65, of Port Royal, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, in Rutland, Vt.

Born on Feb. 23, 1957, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is a son of the late Harold L. “Baldy” and Emma A. (Ritzman) Page.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tracey L. (McMath) Page; three children, Zeb W. Page of Arch Rock, Jenna M. Cavaness and her husband Benton of Thayer, Kan., and Danielle E. Reighter and her husband Dane of Port Royal; six grandchildren, Hayley Zeiders, Quinn Page, Justus Graff, Delaney Reighter, Daxson Reighter, and Dallas “DJ” Reighter; three stepchildren, Blake Henry and his wife Allison, Kyle Henry and his wife Kayla, and Taylor Henry and his companion Esther Manbeck, all of Port Royal; three stepgrandchildren, Charles Henry, Sawyer Henry, and Hudson Henry; one sister, Mona P. Houtz and her husband Randy of Mifflintown; and a former son-in-law, Justin Graff of Erie, Kan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Harold L. Page Jr. and John Page.

Mr. Page was a 1975 graduate of Juniata High School in Mifflintown and was employed for more than 45 years as a company truck driver for Dayton Parts LLC in Harrisburg.

His memberships included the Port Royal Lutheran Church, the Port Royal Lions Club, and the Jenny’s Inn in Port Royal.

He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, spending time at camp, and cooking, especially barbecued chicken; however, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.

Bill will be remembered as someone who had a heart of gold, loved life, loved hard and loved well, and will always be the life of the party.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at Port Royal Lutheran Church, 402 Market St., Port Royal, with the Rev. Allen Hulslander and Pastor Melvin Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, all being held at the Port Royal Lutheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to the Port Royal Lions Club, c/o Chuck Bryner, 1146 Pleasant View Road, Port Royal, PA 17082.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
