Dorothy Fouse was born June 22, 1906 in Marklesburg, Huntingdon Co., PA, the daughter of John Nevin and Carrie Jane (Auman) Fouse. She died November 28, 1984. She married to Rev, Eugene H. McCahan. While he served as pastor of the Port Royal Presbyterian congregation, she was a teacher at Tuscarora Valley High School.
Dorothy and Eugene had three children: Malcolm Bruce, David Fouse and Nancy Elizabeth (McCahan) Wells.
