OBITUARY for MARK A. BROWN
Mark A. Brown, 46, of Port Royal, passed away at 2:10 PM on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his residence.
Born on June 19, 1975 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Clifford D. Brown Sr., of Port Royal and the late Bonnie K. (Lyter) Brown.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his companion, Ashley R. Brought of Port Royal; children, Cassandra E. Brown of Mexico, Travis L. Brown of Port Royal, Katelynn M. Brown, Katrina R. Brown, both of Mifflintown, and Kyle D. Brown of Erie; one brother, Clifford D. Brown, Jr. and his wife Charlene of Enola; two nephews and one niece; and his fur kid, Doodle.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kimberly J. Brown and Wendy K. Brown; and his twin brother, Michael A. Brown.
Mark was employed at various businesses throughout the area but was well known for his mechanic skills.
His hobbies included hauling scrap, butchering, hunting, going to auctions and public sales, tinkering around the shop, and helping his many friends with whatever they needed.
He will be remembered as a great friend who would drop what he was doing to go lend a hand to someone in need.
A memorial gathering is being planned for the spring and will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St, Mifflintown.
