Benjamin D. "Ben" Hosler, 44, of Port Royal, passed away at 1:46 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born on July 9, 1977 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Kimberly (Baumgardner) Eby of Mifflin and the late Ronald Hosler.

On May 17, 2008, he married his surviving wife, Dawn R. (Griffith) Hosler, with whom he was blessed to share over 13 years of marriage.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by: his fur babies, Libby and Luke; one sister, Stephanie Pidgeon of Walnut; father in law, Charles Griffith of McAlisterville; two brother in laws, Andrew Griffith and his wife Sherre of Port Royal and Kenneth Griffith and his companion Joy Stephens of Centre Hall; two nieces, Sierra Pidgeon and Cheyenne Wileman and her husband Brian; one nephew, Hunter Griffith; and many friends whom he considered family.

Mr. Hosler was a 1995 graduate of Juniata High School in Mifflintown and was currently employed through the Iron Workers Local 404 with the Aycock Division of Enerfab.

He was a member and the current Treasurer of the Port Royal Lions Club where he also oversaw their online raffles. He also was a member of the Juniata County Sportsmen?s Association and the American Legion Post 298 in Mifflintown.

Ben loved to hunt, fish, ride his Indian Motorcycle, and spend time with his wife, family, and friends.

All services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Hosler?s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Ste. 206, State College, PA 16803.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
