Hertzler Hill got its name from the Mill and General Store that was located at the bottom of the hill in Old Port. At one time both establishments were associated with the Noah Hertzler Family.
The hill proceeds south on Route 75 away from Hunter's Run. The hill is about a quarter mile north of the two Church Hill Cemeteries.
