PORT ROYAL -- GORDON T. BASHORE, 75, Second Street, Port Royal, died at 6:50 p.m. Sunday [21 SEP 1980] in the Lewistown Hospital.
Born Oct. 4, 1904, in Port Royal, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Annie Bailor Bashore.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Slautterback, McHenry, MD., Mrs. Joseph (Patricia) Forney, Akron, OH; a sister, Mrs. Lena Beers, Clearfield; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Bashore was a retired construction worker, having worked for D. E. Smith, Inc., Mifflintown, RD2. He was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Suder officiating. Burial will be in the New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
