OBITUARY for CLAYTON L. GOODLING, JR.
Clayton L. Goodling, Jr., 74, of Thompsontown, passed away at 10:10 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Ohesson Manor in Lewistown.
Born on December 7, 1946 in Port Royal, Juniata Co., he is the son of the late Clayton L. Sr. and Imogene (Comp) Goodling.
On December 31, 1966, he married his surviving wife, Edna K. (Dunn) Goodling with whom he was blessed to share over 54 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children, Sharon Malinda Davis and her husband Robert of Dayton, NV and Stacey Alan Goodling and his wife Susan of Marysville; three grandsons, Jacob Daniel Goodling, John David Goodling, and Joseph Michael Goodling; four siblings, Ruth Ann Kahley and her husband John, Ronald Goodling and his wife Julia all of McAlisterville, Norma Jean Bradigan and her husband Brian of Harrisburg, and Dennis Goodling and his wife Shirley of McAlisterville; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Goodling was employed and retired after 25 plus years of service at Dayton Parts in Harrisburg.
Clayton was a member and attended the Trinity Reformed Church in Marysville. He enjoyed country music, especially Waylon Jennings and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr.; however, his greatest joy came from spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandsons.
All Services will be private with Pastor Ronald Landis officiating. Interment will take place at Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Goodling?s memory may be made to the Parkinson?s Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
