OBITUARY for LYNN E. DUNN
Lynn E. Dunn, 67, of Mifflin, passed away at 8:55 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Life Care Hospitals, Mechanicsburg.
Born April 11, 1948, in Port Royal, Juniata County, he was a son of the late D. Orville and Esther M. (Worrall) Dunn. On July 22, 1967, he married his late wife, Deborah K. "Debbie" (Casner) Dunn with whom he shared more than 25 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on May 3, 1993.
Surviving are: a son, Brian L. Dunn, of Honey Grove; siblings, Gary E. Dunn and his wife, Jane, of Milroy, Sandra I. Sherlock, of Lewistown, and Robert O. Dunn, of Honey Grove; and two grandchildren, Amber L. (Dunn) Yohn and Garrett L. Dunn.
One sister, Kathleen E. "Sis" Parson preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 2002.
Earlier in life he was employed by the American Viscose Corp., Lewistown, and later he worked in the maintenance department of Empire Kosher Poultry Inc., Mifflintown.
Lynn enjoyed hunting, camping, going to sales, auctions and yard sales. He also had a passion for tractors, riding, buying and selling them. He always cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, especially his grandson Garrett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Russell Bowersox officiating. Interment will follow in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
