Christina L. "Sis" Beasom, 46, of McCoysville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
She was born Jan. 25, 1975, in Lewistown.
She is survived by her parents, Benjamin and Brenda (Hockenberry) Boone of Honey Grove, her husband, Gary G. Beasom, whom she married April 23, 1994, three daughters, Kelsey Benner and husband, Cody, of Thompsontown, Rebecca Beasom and Megan Beasom, both of Mifflintown, one grandson, Noah Benner, two brothers, Gregory Boone and wife, Jenny, of Fort Loudon, and Michael Boone and wife, Robin, of Honey Grove, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Goldie Hockenberry, Orville Boone and Blanche Boone Campbell.
She graduated from Juniata High School in 1992 and was a Trust Office Assistant at Pennian Bank.
She was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church where she faithfully served as the church custodian for more than 15 years.
Sis enjoyed crafting, decorating, going to yard sales and flea markets and helping others. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Her biggest pride and joy was being Nana to Noah.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Port Royal United Methodist Church, with Rev. Crystal Baumgardner, officiating. Interment will follow in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
There will be a viewing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the church.
Masks will be required for everyone who attends the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Port Royal United Methodist Church, 105 5th St., Port Royal, PA 17082.
