Daisy R. Clark, 97, of Mifflintown, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at Valley View Haven in Belleville.
Born on Sept. 9, 1923, in Spruce Hill Twp., Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late Bradford B. and D. Ruth (Stitt) Crozier. On June 16, 1945, she married her late husband, Gerald H. ?Jerry? Clark, with whom she was blessed to share almost 70 years of marriage before his passing on April 23, 2015.
She is survived by her three sons, Dennis E. Clark and his wife Kaye, Keith B. Clark and his wife Kathy, Craig J. Clark and his wife Bonnie, all of Mifflintown; a daughter in law, Brenda K. Clark of Mifflin; eight grandchildren, Brian Clark, Michael Clark, Curt Clark, Jonathan Clark, Scott Clark, Kristen Clark Ritzman, Nathan Clark, and Chad Clark; and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald G. ?Don? Clark; a grandson, Todd E. Clark; two brothers, J. Harold Crozier and B. Max Crozier; five sisters, Agnes Scott, Anna Guss, Emma Peters, Beatrice Sheesley, and Beulah Kauffman making her the last of her generation.
She was a 1941 graduate of Juniata Joint High School in Mifflintown; and after graduation, she was employed at the Olmstead Air Force Base in Middletown and later retired from the Juniata Valley Bank in Port Royal.
Her memberships included: the Port Royal United Methodist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and she also volunteered for the Juniata Meals on Wheels.
She and her late husband enjoyed attending all of the activities of their grandchildren and great grandchildren. They also enjoyed taking bus trips and cruises.
All Services will be private with the Rev. Terry Brosius officiating. Interment will be in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
