OBITUARY for BETTY L. GRONINGER WALKER
Betty L. Walker, 85, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 on Lakeland, FL.
Born June 6. 1928 in Port Royal, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Groninger.
Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and member of Peace Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and painting as hobbies.
She is survived by three daughters, Donnice Walker, Janice Flowers and husband Roane, and Margie Foreman and husband David, all of Bartow, FL; one son Clayton Walker and wife Rhonda of Bartow FL; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of life ceremony was held Wednesday June 12 at Peace Creek Baptist Church in Bartow. A graveside service and burial was held on Saturday June 15, at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
