Two passenger coaches were attached as the train came to Port Royal to load with passengers for either Leonard's Grove or Schmittel's Park. A Tuscarora Valley RR engine somewhere near Spruce Hill Township about 1934. Professor George Pierson believes that this is TVRR's last #3, a 4-4-0 engine and the last engine on the line in operation. He believes that is almost certainly one of a series of photos of a scrap train in 1934 used to pull up rail and haul everything to Port Royal.

WARBLE STATION

TRAIN HITS A COW: This accident occurred on Sept. 6, 1909 near Fort Bingham and Warble. The train hit a cow owned by Harvey Book. The engine, tender and three lumber loaded flat cars were derailed. The left side of the cab was crushed, trapping Engineer, Ritnor Taylor, who died a week later of injuries suffered in the accident.
