The best known location of Cricket Shellenberger's Barber Shop. He used this location for the business until he retired in 1992. The barber shop was in the front of the building and the Shellenberger family used the remainder of the building as their residence. The real estate sign indicates that the property is for sale.

Loraine Olin "Cricket" Shellenberger was a barber in Port Royal for much of his adult life, until his retirement in 1992. He had barber shops at several locations in the town (above what eventually became the Foltz Store on Sixth Street and in the Kohler Farm Supply building on Second Street), but his best known location was on the northeast corner of Market and Third Streets.
