OBITUARY for HOMER D. HOSLER

PORT ROYAL - HOMER D. HOSLER, 60, RD2, died Friday [24 Oct 1975] at his home. He was born May 24, 1915 in Spruce Hill Township to Lillian Kauffman Hosler, Port Royal, and the late David W. Hosler. His widow, Erma M. [Nealman] Hosler, survives.

Also surviving are seven sons Jack, Mifflintown RD and Carl, Ralph, Ronald, Terry, Timothy and Scott all at home and five daughters: Mrs. Stella Benner and Mrs. Mary Walton, both of Thompsontown; Mrs. Wanda Barnes, Dover; Susan Hosler, Port Royal and Jill, at home.

Also surviving are three brothers: Jack, Troxelville and Russell and Robert, both of Mifflintown; five sisters Mrs. Virginia Hosler and Mrs. Betty Brackbill, both of Port Royal and Mrs. Charlotte Foster, Mrs. Wilma Yocum and Mrs. Joyce Hack, all of Mifflintown and eight grandchildren.

He was a veteran of World War II.

A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Internment will be made at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m.
